Ouray, Colorado

The town of Ouray sits in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado.  Many wonderful Bed & Breakfast’s, inns, hotels, motels, and campgrounds are in or near town.  Ouray is called the Switzerland of America for a reason.  Hiking and 4-wheel drive trails lead to some of the prettiest scenery you can imagine.  If you do not have your own Jeep or 4×4 SUV, there are many places in town to rent a Jeep or take you and your group on a tour.   Beautiful scenic drives for regular 2-wheel drive cars also await nearby.   Nicknamed the Million Dollar Highway, Red Mountain Pass  is over 11,000 feet high and follows the Uncompahgre River.  In town, there is also plenty to do.  Make sure to visit the Box Canyon Falls and the Ouray Hot Springs Pool!  The hot springs is open all year round and feels great after a day of skiing or snowboarding in Telluride.   There are many amazing restaurants, gift shops, and activities all over town.  We will be posting pictures, videos, and more information here soon, so check back often!
